This combed top contains Neps (the acrylic and rayon component). This is a great introduction to those new to spinning fiber with textured add-ins. I've dyed these in bright tonals to best show off the neutral colored neps.
Shaniko wool comes US sheep with mostly Merino and Merino/Rambouillet cross lineage. It is a fine, soft, and very white wool. The staple length is a little longer than standard Merino, making it a great fiber for adventurous beginners or those looking to spin for next-to-the-skin soft garments.
